Release Day is Here for Backwater by Tom Deady!

Backwater
12.99

Tim Douglas returns to his home town of Edgewater to bury his mother wanting nothing more than to get back to his retirement in Arizona. A strange sequence of events compels him to attend his 40th high school reunion where the past encroaches on the present, and Tim realizes that the ghosts of his youth must also be laid to rest.

There’s nothing like exploring an abandoned building to bring history back to life. So when Stan Powalski and his urban explorer friends learn that Edgewater’s Grand Hotel is slated for demolition, they can’t wait to get inside. None more than Stan, who has been raised on his grandmother’s stories of the majestic building, the site of his parents’ wedding. What Stan doesn’t know is the Grand holds its own memories, and history has a long reach.

Welcome to Edgewater, Massachusetts. You’ve driven through towns like it; quiet tree-lined streets, a gazebo on the town common where band concerts are held in the summer, maybe an ice-cream truck surrounded by children. But haven’t you wondered what secrets lie hidden behind the elegant brickwork or buried in the postcard-pretty hills and forests? In Edgewater, nothing is as it seems.

Release Day is Here! Demons for Tea!

Ex-priest Denis Kaine's surviving on ramen and kicking otherworldly creatures off this planet. It's all noise to fill his chasm of hate and guilt inside from letting his twin brother blow his brains out because he’d been possessed. Denis should’ve known. He should’ve seen. He should’ve… everything.

His survival techniques are no match for Emma Koroleva, the 1200-year-old entity he freed from imprisonment in Rome. She's powerful, she's got major attitude, and she hates ramen.

She changes into various poltergeists and forces Denis to "exorcise" her. Denis gets paid, they eat real food, and she toys with seducing him. Denis starts to think he's living in the sitcom from hell until he learns his dead brother's become the plaything of something big, strong, and evil. Screw sitcoms. Denis is about to prove why his rep is legendary in the spirit world.

The Indifference of Heaven
By Michael Allen Rose
The Indifference of Heaven
By Michael Allen Rose
The Indifference of Heaven creeps its way under your skin, and before you even realize what’s happening, it’s holding you hostage in its wonderfully weird tendrils, with no intention of letting go you until the last page is done.
— Danger Slater, Author of He Digs A Hole
Haunting, feels like a nightmare, images I can’t shake. Genuinely creepy and disturbing. Now written on every stall I walk into: ‘For a creepy read call: Michael Allen Rose.’
— Laura Lee Bahr, Author of Haunt and Long-Form Religious Porn
We all rely on the reliable to generate some measure of security. Doing so helps us focus on the task at hand, clinging to the illusion that our comforting ruts won’t vanish beneath us. In The Indifference of Heaven, Michael Allen Rose delves into the mind of a man whose trustworthy world suddenly proves no longer worthy of trust. Rose’s skills at scene setting, selecting just the right narrative detail, and depicting his hapless bar owner’s devolving insecurity brings us a masterful tale that will long stay with you.
— Robert Devereaux, author of Baby’s First Book of Seriously Fucked-Up Shit

As heiress to two of America's most profoundly groundbreaking literary traditions, she strives to write as Picasso painted, using an ink metaphorically distilled from the blood, sweat, and tears of a great cloud of witnesses seldom interviewed by a more typical author.

George has owned the bar for years, and it's mostly been the same old thing - serve the drinks, keep the locals happy, clean up the mess. Of particular note is the graffiti that some joker keeps leaving behind in the stall of the restroom. It doesn't seem like anything special, until George notices that one morning, it reads more like a murder confession than the random sex jokes and vulgar rhymes that he's used to.
